Challenge page

I've been working on a new page in my artistic notebook, I used various techniques in its execution, acrylics, collages, stamps and pens. What does not challenge you does not make you change, is what is written in these pages, is one of the challenges for this year be able to create more often new pages in my artistic notebook, I know it will be hard but it's a challenge that I hope to win.

Estive a trabalhar numa nova página no meu caderno artístico, usei várias técnicas na sua execução, tintas acrílicas, colagens, carimbos e canetas. O que não te desafia não te faz mudar, é o que está escrito nestas páginas, é um dos desafios para este ano conseguir criar mais vezes novas páginas no meu caderno artístico, sei que vai ser difícil mas é mais um desafio que espero vencer.

Abstract works

These nine works are part of the 100artworkchallenge, finally got to fifty works, on this group achived 54 abstract works. Until now had never been able to do so much work with the same theme, was a major challenge because it helped me to grow as an artist. Also enters in this type of challenges and grow as an artist.

Estes nove trabalhos fazem parte do desafio 100artworkchallenge, finalmente cheguei aos cinquenta trabalhos, neste grupo cheguei aos 54 trabalhos abstratos. Até agora nunca tinha conseguido fazer tantos trabalhos com o mesmo tema, foi um desafio importante porque ajudou-me a crescer como artista. Entra também neste tipo de desafios e cresce como artista.

50 abstract works

We're almost at the end of the year and I decided to do a checkup of what I did this year and as I had not yet submitted my 50 work all together decided to present them here, looking closer seems they are not here 50 works, but there is and it's amazing the effect that they show all together, they all were performed in 120gm sheet of paper A4 size, and they all have the same technique with watercolors, collages and markers. Depending on the group of works, I think it would be fine to decorate any space and following a particular color group, the effects would be more enriching. I am always inspired to continue making art when I see a lot of work together, I hope you will be inspired too.

Estamos quase no final do ano e resolvi fazer um checkup do que fiz este ano e como ainda não tinha apresentado os meus 50 trabalhos todos juntos resolvi apresentá-los, olhando nem parece que estão aqui 50 trabalhos, é impressionante o efeito que apresentam, todos eles foram realizados em folha de 120gm em tamanho A4, e todos eles apresentam a mesma técnica com aguarelas, colagens e marcadores. Dependendo do conjunto apresentado, penso que ficariam muito bem na decoração de qualquer espaço e seguindo um determinado grupo de cores os efeitos seriam mais enriquecedores. Sinto-me sempre inspirada em continuar a fazer arte quando vejo muitos trabalhos juntos, espero que se sintam inspirados também.

Light in the darkness

Whenever I think of Christmas I think about presents, being with family, sharing emotions, children smile and the whole atmosphere around this particular time. For all of this is also time of wishing, my request for this year is to have friends who support my work and appreciate my art, so for this Christmas I wish you to be my friend ... !!

Sempre que penso no Natal, penso em tudo aquilo que desejava de receber de presente, do convívio com a família, da partilha de emoções, do sorriso das crianças e todo o clima que gira à volta desta época especial. Por tudo isto é altura também de fazer pedidos, o meu pedido para este ano é ter amigos que apoiam o meu trabalho e apreciam a minha arte, por isso neste Natal desejo que sejas meu amigo...!!

Chistmas Shop

As Christmas is almost here I have been working for this very special time, and to think in your fireplaces decided to make these blocks to give color and joy and that special touch on that corner of the house that is as simple and hopeless. These blocks are amazing together or separately and just put them in my etsy shop .

Como o Natal está quase a chegar tenho estado a trabalhar para esta época tão especial, e a pensar nas vossas lareiras resolvi fazer estes blocos para dar cor, alegria e aquele toque especial aquele cantinho da casa que está tão simples e sem animo. Art deco

In this last correspondence the challenge was to make ATC Art Deco, these two were made with collages, bright and some inspiration. It was the first time I made ATC because they are very small is more difficult to achieve the desired effect. 

Nesta última troca de correspondência o desafio era fazer ATC em Art Deco, estes dois foram feitos com colagens, brilhantes e alguma inspiração. Foi a primeira vez que fiz ATC, e como são peças muito pequenas é mais difícil conseguir o efeito desejado. 

These ATC were sent by my friend Michele B. of New Zealand, I loved the models and all the artistic work around them. It was very rewarding to this sharing of knowledge between artists, it is always enriching this exchange of letters. 

Estes ATC foram enviados pela minha amiga Michele B. da Nova Zelândia, adorei as modelos e todo o trabalho artistico em volta delas.  Foi muito gratificante fazer esta partilha de saberes entre artistas, pois é sempre enriquecedor esta troca de correspondência.

Necklace art

Besides painting, another of my great passions has always been jewelry, and why not join my two passions into one. This medallion was made with a reproduction of one of my paintings called " You are loved " belonging to a set of Valentines Day paintings. I was very happy with the end result of this project, hope you like it too.

Além de pintar, outra das minhas grandes paixões sempre foi a bijutaria, e porque não juntar as minhas duas paixões numa só. Este medalhão foi feito com uma reprodução de uma das minhas telas chamada "You are loved", pertencendo a um conjunto de telas do dia dos namorados. Fiquei muito feliz com o resultado final deste projeto, espero que gostem também.

Another new block ready, inspired by the RFM program " Your father has a mustache " of Nilton, I intended to create something fun and with personality, while at the same time creating something with charm. I really enjoyed the end result and I think it shows a little of the personality of this great Portuguese humorist. Inspires you and be creative with humor.

Mais um novo bloco pronto, este foi inspirado no programa da RFM "O teu pai tem bigode" do Nilton. Pretendi criar algo divertido e com personalidade, e ao mesmo tempo criar algo com charme. Gostei muito do resultado final e penso que mostra um pouco da personalidade deste grande humorista português. Inspira-te e mostra a tua criatividade com humor.

Blue

Do not you feel sometimes sad, it seems that everything around you is meaningless!!? because that's how I felt when I painted this canvas. But despite being depressed, I not lowered my arms, I got on my paint and let flow my feelings on white fabric that was in front of me. When you feel that way, do not let feelings take hold of you, turns around and makes art.

Não te sentes por vezes triste, parece que tudo à tua volta não tem sentido!!? pois era assim que eu me sentia quando pintei esta tela. Mas apesar de estar deprimida, não baixei os braços, peguei nas minhas tintas e deixei fluir os meus sentimentos na tela branca que tinha na minha frente. Quando te sentires assim, não deixes que os sentimentos se apoderem de ti, dá a volta e faz arte.

Tags

The last swap group I participated, I have to create three tags. These were the three tags that I made, I used acrylic paints, collages and decorative ribbons. The themes chosen for each of them were different. On the first one we had to use pastel colors, in the second one an accordance with the same color tone and in the last one strong colors, and here I present the final result, I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to perform this type of work.

O último swap group que participei, tinha como objetivo criar três Tags. Estes foram os três tags que fiz, utilizei tintas acrílicas, colagens e fitas decorativas. Os temas escolhidos para cada um deles foram diferentes. No primeiro tinha que utilizar cores pastel, no segundo o mesmo tom de cor e no último cores fortes, e aqui apresento o resultado final, espero que gostem e que se sintam inspirados a realizar este tipo de trabalho.

Life can be sweet when we do what we set out to do, when all goes well and we find no obstacles, life is sweet whenever we are with those we like and have fun, life is sweet when we smile and laugh at life events. A vida pode ser doce sempre que realizamos aquilo que nos propusemos a fazer, sempre que tudo corre bem e não encontramos obstáculos, a vida é doce sempre que estamos com aqueles que gostamos e nos divertimos, a vida é doce sempre que sorrimos e rimos dos acontecimentos da vida. Estive outra vez a brincar com o meu caderno artístico e desta vez resolvi pintar uma orquídea que encontrei numa revista. Por vezes não sabemos que queremos pintar, só sabemos que precisamos de criar alguma coisa, então porque não pegar numa revista e desfolhá-la até encontrarmos algo que nos inspira. Foi isso que fiz neste trabalho, colei a imagem na folha e com as minhas aguarelas comecei a pintar...

New Blocks

Today I decided to work in these new blocks, I started to work in the background and put some collages to give fun effects. Hoje resolvi trabalhar nestes novos blocos, comecei por trabalhar no fundo e colocar algumas colagens para dar efeitos divertidos. Gosto muito de trabalhar em blocos de madeira, pois a tinta adere muito bem e podemos fazer colagens e impressões como se estivesse a trabalhar no meu caderno artístico.
