For some time now that I do not publish anything here, but I still work on my art and my jewelery, also make some changes in my shop on etsy and I ended up leaving my blog a part. Also I am meditated on the course I want to give and how to express my art and I began to think that I always want to create something different that makes people that saw my art want to see it again, want to admire it and each time it makes it to see see a different light, fix the details and want to know the process to get there. So here are some more of my abstract works that are part of the 100artworkcallenge .
Há já algum tempo que não publico nada aqui, mas continuo a trabalhar nos meus trabalhos e bijutarias, andei também a fazer algumas alterações na minha loja no etsy e acabei por deixar de parte o meu blog. Também meditei sobre o rumo que estou a dar e sobre a forma de expressar a minha arte e pus-me a pensar que eu quero criar sempre algo diferente que faça com que quem vê o meu trabalho pela primeira vez queira vê-lo de novo, queira admirá-lo e cada vez que o torna a ver veja uma luz diferente, queira fixar os detalhes queira saber qual o processo para chegar aqui. Sendo assim estão aqui mais alguns dos meus trabalhos abstratos que fazem parte do desafio 100artworkcallenge.
On this process of 100artworkchallenge it's always a surprise. when I do the watercolors I have a small idea of what I intend to do, but then the end result turns out to be completely different which turns out to be amazing, I think with this challenge I am creating my own style evolve and discover something new in each work.
Este processo do desafio 100artworkchallenge, é sempre uma surpresa, quando faço as aguarelas tenho uma pequena ideia do que pretendo fazer, mas depois o resultado final acaba por ser completamente diferente, o que acaba por ser surpreendente, acho que com este desafio estou a criar o meu próprio estilo, a evoluir e a descobrir algo novo em cada trabalho.
I was in my studio working on new watercolors for 100artworchallenge, new watercolors that will soon be ready to the challenge. Although I´m not very joyful lately, but I will not give up, when I feel down I go to my studio and do some artwork to lift up my courage and never give up making art.
Estive no meu estúdio a trabalhar em novas aguarelas para o desafio artworchallenge, novas aguarelas que em breve estarão prontas para apresentar no desafio. Apesar de não estar muito animada ultimamente, não vou desistir, quando me sinto em baixo, vou para o meu estúdio e faço algum trabalho artístico para levantar o meu animo e nunca desistir de fazer arte.
This was the last group of abstract works carried out at the end of 2015, my expectations when I started the challenge was to make hundred jobs in a year, but could not. I hope to conclude as soon as possible this challenge and maybe start a new one ... or perhaps continue to make abstract works !!!
Este foi o último grupo de trabalhos abstratos realizados no final de 2015, as minhas expectativas quando comecei o desafio era conseguir realizar os cem trabalhos num ano, mas não consegui. Espero concluir o mais breve possível este desafio e quem sabe começar um novo... ou quem sabe continuar a realizar trabalhos abstratos!!!
This year I will continue working for the 100artworkcallenge, and here are four works executed with a base in watercolors, collages, pens and pencils. Every job is different from one another but at the same time it seems that complement each other, this is one of the joys of making art the end result is magical and amazing.
Este ano vou continuar a trabalhar para o desafio 100artworkcallenge, e aqui estão mais quatro trabalhos executados com uma base em aguarelas, colagens, canetas e lápis. Cada trabalho é diferente um do outro mas ao mesmo tempo parece que se completam, esta é uma das alegrias de fazer arte o resultado final é mágico e surpreendente.
I decided to make another Midori for this new year, and how I want to be very lucky decorated it with a hand talisman of Fatima. This Midori was made with reusable materials, used a box of cereal as a base in its construction, then I lined it with sticky paper with this gorgeous geometric pattern finally put a white elastic. I hope you enjoy the end result and may also try to make a Midori to save your annual agenda.
Resolvi fazer outro Midori para este novo ano, e como quero ter muita sorte decorei-o com um talismã da mão de Fátima. Este Midori foi feito com materiais reutilizáveis, usei uma caixa de cereais como base na sua construção, depois forrei-a com papel autocolante com este lindo padrão geométrico por fim coloquei um elástico branco. Espero que gostem do resultado final e podem também experimentar fazer um Midori para guardar a tua agenda anual.
These nine works are part of the 100artworkchallenge, finally got to fifty works, on this group achived 54 abstract works. Until now had never been able to do so much work with the same theme, was a major challenge because it helped me to grow as an artist. Also enters in this type of challenges and grow as an artist.
Estes nove trabalhos fazem parte do desafio 100artworkchallenge, finalmente cheguei aos cinquenta trabalhos, neste grupo cheguei aos 54 trabalhos abstratos. Até agora nunca tinha conseguido fazer tantos trabalhos com o mesmo tema, foi um desafio importante porque ajudou-me a crescer como artista. Entra também neste tipo de desafios e cresce como artista.
We're almost at the end of the year and I decided to do a checkup of what I did this year and as I had not yet submitted my 50 work all together decided to present them here, looking closer seems they are not here 50 works, but there is and it's amazing the effect that they show all together, they all were performed in 120gm sheet of paper A4 size, and they all have the same technique with watercolors, collages and markers. Depending on the group of works, I think it would be fine to decorate any space and following a particular color group, the effects would be more enriching. I am always inspired to continue making art when I see a lot of work together, I hope you will be inspired too.
Estamos quase no final do ano e resolvi fazer um checkup do que fiz este ano e como ainda não tinha apresentado os meus 50 trabalhos todos juntos resolvi apresentá-los, olhando nem parece que estão aqui 50 trabalhos, é impressionante o efeito que apresentam, todos eles foram realizados em folha de 120gm em tamanho A4, e todos eles apresentam a mesma técnica com aguarelas, colagens e marcadores. Dependendo do conjunto apresentado, penso que ficariam muito bem na decoração de qualquer espaço e seguindo um determinado grupo de cores os efeitos seriam mais enriquecedores. Sinto-me sempre inspirada em continuar a fazer arte quando vejo muitos trabalhos juntos, espero que se sintam inspirados também.

As Christmas is almost here I have been working for this very special time, and to think in your fireplaces decided to make these blocks to give color and joy and that special touch on that corner of the house that is as simple and hopeless. The most interesting thing about being an artist is that we can create whatever we please, and long ago I have in mind make an artistic book made entirely with pieces of paper that had at home where I applied various painting techniques. After several researches decided to do it with cereal box reuse. For make the cover I cut the cereal box to achieve load A4 sheets folded in half, then I cover the box with a printing technique very easy to do.
A coisa mais interessante em ser artista é que podemos criar tudo aquilo que nos apetece, e já há muito tempo que tenho em mente realizar um caderno artístico feito totalmente com folhas de papel que tinha em casa, onde apliquei várias técnicas de pintura. Depois de várias pesquisas resolvi faze-lo com reutilização de caixa de cereais. Para a sua realização cortei a caixa de forma a conseguir colocar folhas A4 dobradas ao meio, depois forrei a caixa com uma técnica de impressão muito fácil de fazer.
On the cover I used the candles technique. This technique consist in apply multiple candles droplets in a normal sheet of paper . After the candle dry, I painted the whole sheet with paint diluted in water and immediately afterwards without leaving dry the ink, put another sheet on top and began to iron them, keeping the positive and negative side on the sheets of paper. The cover features the positive side where we can see the dripping candle that paint did not adhere, getting this very unique effect. The paper sheets were sewn to form an artistic notebook. Na capa foi usada a técnica da cera. A técnica consiste em aplicar vários pingos de cera de uma vela normal, na folha de papel. Depois da vela seca, pintei a folha toda com tintas diluída em água e logo de seguida sem deixar secar a tinta, coloquei outra folha em cima e passei a ferro, ficando com o lado positivo e negativo. A capa apresenta o lado positivo, onde podemos ver os pingos de cera que tinta não aderiu, ficando este efeito muito original.
Os molhos de folhas foram todas cozidas com fio de algodão para formar um caderno artístico. Para saberes mais sobre a construção deste caderno, tens de ver este vídeo da jennibellie, que no meu ponto de vista é uma grande artísta de mixmedia:

Recently I made a midori with reusable materials, and I put adhesive decorative paper with motifs of famous cities in the world, the Eifel Tower was highlighted, that´s why I applied it a small ornament of the most famous tower in Paris. It is with sadness that today I speak of Paris because due to the massacre that took place yesterday, France is in grief. Here is my tribute to this great city that is PARIS. Today we all hold hands and pray for Paris.
Recentemente fiz um midori com materiais reutilizáveis, e forrei-o com papel decorativo autocolante com motivos de cidades famosas no mundo, e como se destacava a torre Eifel, apliquei-lhe aqui um pequeno ornamento da torre mais famosa de Paris. É com tristeza que Hoje falo de Paris pois devido ao massacre que ocorreu ontem, a França está de luto. Fica aqui a minha homenagem a esta grande cidade que é PARIS. Hoje vamos todos dar as mãos e rezar por Paris.
Besides painting, another of my great passions has always been jewelry, and why not join my two passions into one. This medallion was made with a reproduction of one of my paintings called " You are loved " belonging to a set of Valentines Day paintings. I was very happy with the end result of this project, hope you like it too.
Além de pintar, outra das minhas grandes paixões sempre foi a bijutaria, e porque não juntar as minhas duas paixões numa só. Este medalhão foi feito com uma reprodução de uma das minhas telas chamada "You are loved", pertencendo a um conjunto de telas do dia dos namorados. Fiquei muito feliz com o resultado final deste projeto, espero que gostem também.
