Watercolors

I was asked what watercolors I use in my artistic creations, I know that it is difficult to find the right watercolors, especially for those who live outside the big cities, but now it is much easier to get them through the internet. The watercolors I use are Giotto's, winsor's and tiger's, Any of these leaves surprising effects on paper, but the experiences and finishes are slightly different. The brushes I use are all those that are soft to the touch on paper. The best paper is the watercolor paper weighing more than 120ib. But the most important thing is to create art, apart of the type of material you use.

Perguntaram-me quais as aguarelas que costumo usar nas minhas criações artísticas, eu sei que é difícil encontrar as aguarelas certas, principalmente para quem vive fora das grandes cidades, mas agora é muito mais fácil obtê-las através da internet. As aguarelas que uso são da Giotto, da winsor e da tiger, Qualquer uma delas deixa efeitos surpreendentes no papel, mas as experiências e os acabamentos são ligeiramente diferentes. Os pincéis que uso são todos aqueles que são suaves ao toque no papel. O melhor papel é o papel de aguarela de gramagem superior a 200 gramas. Mas o mais importante é criar arte, independentemente do tipo de material que usas.

After much reflection, I came to the conclusion that it is no use concentrating only on painting, because I love working with other materials so I decided that it was no use fighting against what I feel. It seems that the time has come to continue to do everything I enjoy, I think I am a multifaceted person who always has new ideas. For this reason I will show here all my works, not only the paintings but also the jewelery and other things that I feel like doing. So do not fight against your instincts because you will be much happier.

Depois de muito refletir, cheguei à conclusão que não adianta concentrar-me somente na pintura, porque adoro trabalhar também com outros materiais por isso resolvi que não adiantava lutar contra aquilo que sinto. Parece que chegou a altura de continuar a fazer tudo aquilo que gosto, acho que sou uma pessoa multifacetada que tem sempre novas ideias. Por isso mesmo vou mostrar aqui todos os meus trabalhos, não somente as pinturas mas também as bijutarias e outras coisas que me apetece fazer. Não lutem contra os vossos instintos pois vão ser muito mais felizes.

Reflexion

I feel that this year will be a year of reflection, I look around and see that I have everything I need to create what I want, but then I do not know where to start, so many ideas, so many projects in my head, but then I feel that I can not perform all of them and I end up not performing any. I do not know if it's the same with you!? I want to do everything and I end up doing nothing. So this is a point where I have to reflect very well this year. Trying to get over what gets me stuck and move on is one of my biggest challenges.

Sinto que este ano vai ser um ano de reflexão, olho á minha volta e vejo que tenho tudo o que preciso para criar aquilo que quero, mas depois não sei por onde começar, tantas ideias, tantos projetos na minha cabeça, mas depois sinto que não consigo realizar todos eles e acabo por não realizar nenhum. Não sei se acontece o mesmo com vocês!? quero fazer tudo e não faço nada. Por isso este é um ponto em que tenho de refletir muito bem este ano. Tentar ultrapassar aquilo que me deixa presa e seguir em frente é um dos maiores desafios.

Estou cheia de planos para o futuro, finalmente ganhei confiança sufeciente para apostar forte nos meus sonhos. Gostava de inspirar todos aqueles que gostam de arte, de pintar, de desenhar, de misturar técnicas e materiais nas suas pinturas. Nunca devemos desistir dos nossos sonhos, pois nunca se sabe quando alguém vai ficar tocado pelo teu trabalho. When I created this blog, I had high expectations, had so many ideas in my head, do art work, create my daily newspaper and make the creativity flow in order to inspire all those who follow me,take those who thought that art was not interesting inspired and interested in Art, but over the time these expectations did not go as I expected, it seems that everything that is linked to Art isn`t importante in this country, it seems that nobody gives importance to the artists and like to criticize who insists on this dream. In these last months that I have been away I realized that anyone who does not understand the art world should not be part of it. I have been in conflict with myself trying to see if it is worth continuing to show my work and slowly my mind is reach positive thoughts and ideas.

Quando criei este blog, tinha grandes expectativas, tinha tantas ideias na cabeça, fazer trabalhos em Arte, criar o meu jornal diário, fazer a criatividade fluir de forma a inspirar todos aqueles que me seguiam, levar aqueles que achavam que a arte não interessava a se sentirem inspirados, a seguir este percurso, mas ao longo do tempo estas expectativas não saíram como esperava, parece que tudo que está ligado a Arte deixou de ter importância neste país, parece que ninguém dá importância aos artistas e gostam de criticar quem insiste neste sonho. Nestes últimos meses que estive ausente percebi que quem não entende este mundo da arte também não deve fazer parte dele. Tenho estado em conflito comigo mesma a tentar perceber se vale a pena continuar a apostar no meu trabalho e aos poucos a minha mente está a recuperar as ideias e  pensamentos positivos.

At this stage I did not stop creating art, I continued to work in abstract works and I continued to do mixedmedia, I kept the publications in my instagram, although I do not do it so often.

Nesta fase não deixei de criar arte, continuei a trabalhar nos trabalhos abstractos e continuei a fazer mixedmedia, mantive as publicações no meu instagram, apesar de não o fazer tão frequentemente. 

I hope to return now stronger and with more initiative, trying not to let me down by negative things and move on, making art.

Espero voltar agora mais forte e com mais iniciativa, tentar não me deixar abalar por coisas negativas e seguir em frente, sempre a fazer arte.

Abstract Art

This experience of making abstract watercolors made ​​me realize that I can achieve the goals that I propose, despite being a new experience this make me like to work with watercolor and abstract. All work was made on regular paper because I was afraid that the experience did not work and so did not want to risk spoiling on watercolors paper because they are much more expensive. Throughout with this experience I gained confidence in my work and I think I'm ready to risk another kind of paper, what do you think ... !!!

Esta experiência de fazer aguarelas abstratas fez-me perceber que consigo atingir os objetivos a que me proponho, apesar de ser uma experiência nova fez com que gostasse cada vez mais de realizar trabalhos em aguarela e abstratos. Todos os trabalhos foram realizados em papel de cavalinho, porque tinha receio que a experiência não funcionasse e então não quis arriscar estragar as folhas de aguarelas que são muito mais caras. Ao longo desta experiência fui ganhando confiança no meu trabalho e acho que estou pronta para arriscar noutro tipo de papel, o que acham...!!!

Santos populares

We are in the month of popular saints, it is time to eat grilled sardines with bread, "caldo verde", the popular marche, asking wishes to the saints, popular music at dances, the smell of basil, all this gave me inspiration to create some blocks on the subject. These blocks are well decorate a shelf or put on the wall and can find them in my Etsy shop, are original and unique paintings that will value the space of your home.

Estamos no mês dos santos populares, é altura de comer a sardinha assada com pão, o caldo verde, as marchas populares, pedir desejos aos santos, a música popular nos bailes, o cheiro a manjerico,  tudo isso deu-me inspiração para criar alguns blocos sobre o tema. Estes blocos ficam bem a decorar uma prateleira, uma estante ou para colocar na parede e podem encontrá-los na minha loja no Etsy, são pinturas originais e únicas que vão valorizar aquele espaço da tua casa.
