More challenging work, which put my mind to work to be able to create something original and unique. The exchange of correspondence between artists is very common in this circle, but had never experienced, and now it seems I have always been in this world, just had not awake to it. The idea in this work was to do something to hang.

Mais um trabalho desafiador, que pôs a minha mente a trabalhar para conseguir criar algo original e único. A troca de correspondência entre artistas é muito comum neste circulo, mas nunca tinha experimentado, e agora parece que sempre estive neste mundo, só ainda não tinha acordado para ele. A ideia neste trabalho era fazer algo para pendurar.

This was the course of the work I sent to my artist friend LA Guest from England, and down the talented work that she sent me, I loved the whole process and I liked much more of this I received. All of you out there, who like artwork should try to enter these challenges and never forget to do ART.

Este foi o decorrer do trabalho que enviei à minha amiga artista L.A. Traveling

My head is always traveling, always thinking of new ways to be creative, and it was with this thought that I conducted a new page of my art journal. This work was mainly done in watercolor and while working my ideas were emerging and the work flowing. I hope you enjoyed and think that while your mind is traveling you can also create art, take in your notebook and start your journey.

Aqui está mais um bloco de madeira concluído e pronto para quem quiser colocá-lo na parteleira de sua casa, todos os blocos são envernizados e também podem ser pendurados na parede, estão assinados e prontos a serem enviados, espero que quem os receba encha a sua vida de alegria e diversão. Este é intitulado vive de forma simples, pois desta forma somos todos muito mais felizes.

No mês de Maio entrei no grupo swap art que a jennibellie organizou, foi a minha primeira experiência neste tipo de desafios, mas resolvi arricar. O desafio era realizar um postal para enviar para a nossa amiga, adorei esta experiência pois é uma forma de fazermos novos amigos e partilhar arte uns com os outros.

In May I entered the art swap group that organized jennibellie, was my first experience in this kind of challenges, but I decided to  risk it. The challenge was to create a postcard to send to our friend, I loved this experience because it is a way for us to make new friends and share art with each other.

Este postal foi o que eu relizei para enviar para a minha amiga, quis mostrar-lhe o local onde vivo e algumas coisas que eu gosto de fazer, o objetivo era também enviar uma frase positiva para quem recebesse o postal e este foi o resultado final. 

This post has been what I have accomplished to send to my friend, wanted to show her where I live and some things I like to do, the goal was also to send a positive phrase for those who receive the post and this was the end result.

Depois de uma pequena pausa e de alguma inspiração, coclui mais um bloco de madeira. No decorrer do processo de criação surgiram estas palavras, BRILHO, SORRISO e GENTILEZA, então pensei que excelentes palavras para começar um trabalho artístico.

Flower moments

O mês de junho é tão florido, em toda à parte existem frutos a nascer e flores no seu auge. Foi com esta inspiração que nestes últimos dias tenho estado no meu estúdio a trabalhar em mais um trabalho em mixmedia, depois da primeira base em pintura acrílica, apliquei algumas colagens de frutos, páginas de livros velhos e pasta de modelar dando alguns efeitos e texturas. 

The month of June is so flowery, throughout apart there are fruits to be born and flowers at its peak . It was with this inspiration that these last days I have been in my studio working on another work in mixmedia after the first layer on acrylic paint, I applied some fruit collage of old books pages and model paste giving some effects and textures.

Partindo desta base, comecei a realizar o projeto que tinha em mente à já algum tempo, dei forma às flores e ao rosto, e apliquei algumas texturas. 

On this basis, I began to realize the project I had in my mind for a long time, gave shape to flowers and face, and applied some textures.

Finalmente depois de mais algumas camadas de tinta e pormenores com Pitt Pens, cheguei ao resultado que pretendia, um rosto luminoso com muita cor e paixão.

Chegaram os meus novos blocos de madeira, fico sempre entusiasmada com novos materiais, é nesta altura que as minhas ideias começam a fervilhar e novos projetos e ideias surgem, então pus mãos à obra e comecei a pintar alguns deles, que depois de algumas camadas de tinta, só necessitam de alguma inspiração para criar algo diferente e único.

Tem sido um desafio alusinante realizar estes trabalhos, pois cada um é diferente do outro e ao mesmo tempo os materiais usados são sempre os mesmos. O importante é que sinto que em cada trabalho existe uma evolução e cada vez mais estou a gostar de trabalhar com este tema. Desafia-te a ti própria e cria também 100 trabalhos com o mesmo tema vais ver que vai ser aliciante cada dia que passa....

Blue eyes

Este trabalho deu-me imenso gozo realizar pois a minha intenção era criar algo abstrato, mas depois de algumas camadas de tintas e colagens, algumas coisas interessantes foram surgindo e pareceu-me ver um rosto a aparecer. Com este sentimento resolvi desenhar esta linda menina, com uns grandes e profundos olhos azuis. 

This work gave me immense joy performing, because my intention was to create something abstract, but after a few layers of paint and collage, some interesting things happened when I played and some how I thought I saw a face to emerge. With this feeling I decided to draw this beautiful girl, with a big, deep blue eyes.

Serendipity

Sempre gostei de pintar rostos, enquanto folheava uma revista, vi este rosto que me transmitiu alguma serenidade, e pensei, por que não pintá-lo...!!! Comecei com um fundo em aguarela e depois foi só pegar no pincel e começar a desenhar o rosto. Como achei que faltava alguma coisa, peguei em alguns bocados da revista e acrescentei a colagem e isto surgiu assim de repente, pareceu um acaso da vida...!!!

I always liked to paint faces, while flipping through a magazine, saw this face that gave me some serenity, and I thought, why not paint it ... !!! I started with a background in watercolor and then just get the brush and start drawing the face. As I thought something was missing, caught in some magazine pieces and added glue and it came so suddenly, seemed like a serendipity of life ... !!!

Aproveita todos os teus momentos livres para pegar nas tintas, na tua imaginação e criar algo que te faça feliz e realizada. Foi isso que eu fiz, peguei numa tela e em todos os materiais que tinha à minha volta e comecei a criar uma base de trabalho com as minhas cores favoritas, depois o trabalho foi fluindo e cada passo do trabalho foi uma nova descoberta ...... aproveitei cada segundo desta criação artístca e senti-me livre...!!.

Abstract

Continuo a trabalhar para o desafio 100 artworkchallenger, tem sido bastante divertido realizar estes trabalhos abstratos em aguarela, colagens, marcadores e lápis. Cada trabalho finalizado faz-me sorrir e estou a adorar esta experiência pois sinto que em cada trabalho existe uma evolução, nas formas e cores aplicadas. Estes são os trabalhos 5-8 do desafio.

Continue to work for the challenge 100artworkchallenger, it has been quite fun performing these abstract works in watercolor, collage , markers and pencils. Each finished work makes me smile and I'm loving this experience because I feel that in every work there is an evolution in the forms and colors. These are the works of the challenge 5 to 8 .

Estive a trabalhar na construção de uns pequenos cadernos feitos com materiais reutilizáveis. Comecei por pintar caixas de cereais com tintas acrílicas e algumas impressões, depois cortei-os à medida que queria, estes cadernos têm um tamanho A6. Cortei folhas comuns, coloridas e algumas com papel reciclado à medida do caderno e cosi manualmente as folhas ao caderno com aplicação de missangas.

I've been working on building small notebooks made ​​with reusable materials. I started by painting cereal boxes with acrylic paints and some impressions, then cut them as wanted, these notebooks have a A6 size. Cut common paper, colorful paper and some recycled paper and hand sewed the paper on the notebook with application of beads.

Com o mesmo tema realizei um marcador, onde apliquei fitas de organza a condizer. 

With the same theme I made a marker where applied organza ribbons to match.

Depois realizei uma aguarela de um rosto que apliquei na capa do caderno, esta aguarela é original e única. Coloquei uma palavra de incentivo "BELIEVE", acredita em ti e nos teus sonhos. 

I did a watercolor face that applied on the cover of the notebook, this watercolor is original and unique. I put an encouraging word " BELIEVE ", believe in yourself and in your dreams .

She decided to be free

No terceiro bloco, a frase escolhida foi "SHE DECIDED TO BE FREE", ela decidiu ser livre. Neste momento eu decidi ser livre e dedicar-me mais à arte, é sempre renovador cada vez que acabamos um trabalho, faz-nos sentir livres e realizados. Pensem mais naquilo que vos faz feliz, libertem-se das amarras que vos prendem e sejam livres para criar. 

In the third block, the chosen phrase was " SHE DECIDED TO BE FREE". At this point I decided to be free and dedicate myself more to the art, it's always refreshing each time a work is finished, it makes me feel free and fulfilled. Think more on what makes you happy, release yourself from the chains that hold you and be free to create.

No segundo bloco, resolvi colocar a frase "DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY", faz aquilo que te faz feliz. Neste momento o que me faz feliz é fazer arte, pintar e exprimentar novas técnicas, estou a adorar tarbalhar em mixmedia, é uma técnica que nos leva a explorar novos materiais e técnicas e cada trabalho é uma experiência nova. Exprimenta também esta técnica, em madeira, em tela, ou num simples caderno e vais ver que vais gostar. 

In the second block, I decided to put the phrase "DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY ". Right now what makes me happy is to make art, painting and try new techniques, I love work in mixmedia, is a technique that leads us to explore new materials and techniques and each work is a new experience. Neste trabalho fiz uma flor, apliquei algumas colagens para criar harmonia e utilizei cores que contrastavam com o fundo.

Dream big

Após alguma inspiração, comecei a trabalhar nos meus blocos, e aqui está o primeiro. Resolvi chamar-lhe DREAM BIG, sonha alto. É isso que quero para a minha vida artística, sonhar alto e chegar o mais longe possível, sei que pode ser ambição a mais, mas se não sonharmos alto nunca conseguimos alcançar os nossos objetivos. Utilizei tintas acrílicas para pintar o pássaro e a cor vermelha para criar algum contraste. Espero que se sintam inspirados nos meus trabalhos e também tenham sonhos altos. 

After some inspiration, I started working on my block, and here's the first one. I decided to call it DREAM BIG. That's what I want for my artistic life, get higher and as far as possible, know it can be the most ambitious, but we have to dream high to achieve our goals. I used acrylic paints to paint the bird and the red color to create some contrast. I hope you will be inspired in my work and also have high dreams.

Resolvi pintar mais três blocos de madeira aplicando a técnica de mixmédia. Escolhi uma cor para cada um dos blocos e depois apliquei-lhes diferentes técnicas. No primeiro utilizei um stencil redondo, no segundo carimbos e no terceiro um stencil com quadradrinhos. Agora é só preciso alguma inspiração para criar temas para cada deles. 

Decided to paint three more wooden blocks applying Mixmedia technique. I chose a color for each block and then applied them different techniques. In the first one I used a stencil in the second stamps and in third another stencil. Now you just need some inspiration to create themes for each one of them.
